Ok, I just started on birth control. I'm on my last week of the first month which is just the sugar pills. Ive only had one side effect that I was told was birth control related which was some spotting. Now i'm on my fourth week and was patiently waiting for my period. I'm not so sure about this whole birth control thing. I finally got my period today (or so I thought.) it seemed heavy for maybe an hr or two and ever since theres no blood at all. I have been messing around with my boyfriend but never had sex. I know I can still get pregnant even without having sex...So should I be worried that I possibly might be pregnant? Or is this normal for being on birth control? This maybe a stupid question but if anyone could help me out i'd greatly appreciate it. Id hate to get all worked up over something thats normal.

You're probably fine. If you didn't actually have sex and you're on the pill, it's highly unlikely that you're pregnant. It's common for your period to be different (usually lighter) when you're on the pill, especially in the beginning when your body is adjusting to it.
