Should I Be So Jealous of This??

I've been with my guy for over a year.
Before we got together and were just pals, he mentioned that he had a slight preference for asian girls. He likes a small frame and not in to the buxom look.
I am caucasian/ petite.
Months later he made a joke about "chasing asian girls".
Now, even though we've been over this a few times and he's spent a lot of time reassuring me that he is totally devoted to me and he loves me, thinks i'm beautiful etc. And insists that he doesn't have "a thing" for another type. I can't seems to stop myself from getting jealous when we see a pretty asian girl or some other trigger.
I can't tell if I should be upset or if i'm being silly???
He sais he doesn't want to talk about it anymore but it still bothers me because I feel like he's not being honest and downplaying what he previously said (naturally)
please help.

yeah yeah.. I understand what your going through the thing is , is that men always think you dont listen but women listen more than what they think .. If he happens to mention about another girl we will remember.. And guys seem to always forget waht they sayed or claim they have forgotten.. I dont think your being silly I have this problem also.. You sould probly talk to him and let him know how it made you feel when he sayed that I bet he probly woulnt even remember it.. Lol.. But you have every right to be jelous because you know exactly what he likes.. Ofcourse your probly going to want to attack any pretty assian girl now when you see her but if hes not looking dont say anything if he looks you get on his ass because you know who/ what he looking for!.. I hate when men do that !**@!.. Lol.. Anyways im sorry justb relesing some pressure.. .. Ta ta.. Hope everythings gose right.

Dont worry, if hes been with you and dedicated to you for an entire year, u hav no reason to be jealous =) if he really really wanted to have an asian girl.. Then why did he go for u? Be proud that he picked u over all of the asian girls he couldve had. Dont worry, guys drool over anything that passes by them.. Its a tradition =) juss like they drool over female celebrities. He may have a preference of a "look" but u have the "heart".

Hello girl...I'm asian...And my bf has this "thing" for asians girls too...Good thing i'm asian...Anyways I do feel for you..Even if i'm asian...My bf always hangs on the wall different girls (semi-porn) some are asian some are not...Before it really bothered me..But now I really don't care...It is normal to feel jealous but I think your bf really loves you and if he had a chance to choose between an asian girl or you he will still choose you...That's why he is still w/ you and your still his gf..Just relax honey...Guys tend to think that you are insecure when you get jealous of other girls...Just play it..

No you should not be jelous of you other females because if you are with a guy that is looking at another girl but its good because he with you and not her and I think that you should be able to look at other guys

why white guys like asian women????????
my BF's ex was asian, not the cute kind either. I am totally bothered cuz I am a spanish/white mix with curves. my issue is; I am not asian looking! I have sexy curves, big boobs and round eyes! I don't look asian at all! I feel so irritated whenever theres an asian pin thin girl around. Sorru but they look like little boys, not WOMEN! For the record the only asian man I've ever thought was slightly attractive was Brandon lee and he's no longer with us...GGGRRRRR

Yeah, I know what you mean. My boyfriend has a thing for redheads...wow. I mean, there is nothing wrong with having red hair but I just can't fathom the sick fetishes that men develop these days. What is this world coming to when you can see every sick thing imaginable on the internet? It amazes me that people are even in relationships at all. Sorry, I know that sounded negative, but the little things really stick in my craw.

Yeah your boyfriend is lying. Men don't stop finding women attractive when they enter a relationship and they don't do it to frustrat you. It's how we're wired. We're pretty much helpless but to recognize breasts and asses and faces of women we see all day. It's pretty confusing to us that most women can stop noticing that stuff once they get in a comitted relationship. You seem pretty freaked out about this. If you were my girlfriend I'd tell you anything to get you to stop obsessing about something neither of us could control and that wasn't that important to me. He's with you, not some asian chick. Appreciate that he loves and supports you and accept that he is attracted to whatever his instincts make him be attracted to. As long as he isn't acting on his attraction to other women let it go.
