Hi!!

For the past two-three weeks I have been having weird symptoms, and I am unable to see a gyno till dec. 17, if anyone has any insight it would be of good help. Here is my issue...

I have mild, yet persistent lower back (which goes down into my legs), abdominal, and pelvic pain that never goes away even with over the counter medicications. Also I have a weird stringy discharge that is heavy and has a strong odor (the odor isn't bad, its just very strong) blood (very light and pinkish colour) is also present sometimes in this discharge. Also when my fiance and I have intercourse, recently, it has been slightly painful. I am nausish and am losing weight, yet still eating regularly.

I am on ortha tricyclin, have been for about 5 months, and have never missed a day, my menstrual cycle is also right on, however lately it has been severly painful and a few days longer than normal.

I am 21 and never had a pap test, I have on scheduled for dec. 17. I was just wondering if I should try to get it bumped up, or if I should even be worried? Can anyone explain these symptoms?

Thank you

Continuation
Also I forgot to mention I have had to urinate quite frequently, I haven't increased my liquid intake, and it doesn't burn or hurt when I urinate it's just frequent, also my bowel movements have been weird.

Any insights please, would be excellent. Should I go to the er, or wait the 2 more weeks to see the doctor?

Get Checked Out
Think about requesting a lap test from your gyn....Sounds like you have some of the symptoms for endometriosis.

i agree. I've been convinced that I have endo since I was 17, but when I finally got the doctors to listen to me and have the lap test scheduled, I found out I was pregnant!! Nothing's been done since.

I can't believe you're 21 and have never had a pap? Why not???

Hi....
When I was reading your post...It reminded me a lot of me. Kinda freaky. Im also 21, have lower back pain, left leg hurts every once in awhile, pelvic pain only around my period...And terrible cramps! Ugh sucky! Hang in there!!!

I had my first pap smear and breast exam last june. I was supposed to go in june again this year...But all this came up and my mother is making me go as soon as possible. I believe you should do the same as well!!!

Yes, the exam isnt very comfortable...But it is an important exam to have!! I do wish you the best and I hope everything is ok with you!
