Hi ! Hoping anyone can help.. My husband has been hosptialized four times this year with the same "unknown illness"....He has horrible pain around his belly button area...He vomits constantly nothing but bile..He says it feels like a huge gas pocket is in his intestines. He has had cat scan, hida scans, x rays..They have checked the top of his stomache with the tube down his nose...Nothing...The have given him a colonoscopy nothing...They did the test where you swallow a camera and the only thing that comes up is that his digestive system is extremely slow...No name ..No cure...They have put him on reglan/zelnorm... They dont really seems to be helping...So I am curious if anyone has heard of anything similiar to this......Any information would be greatly appreciated

thanks,
megan

Sounds like he could have gastroparesis if his stomach has delayed emptying....Has he had a gastric emptying test? This is where the patient swallows a radioactive meal and they see how long it takes to digest. How long has he been on reglan? Sometimes it takes a while to see results....Has he modified his diet to low fat, low fiber? Do a google search on gastroparesis for more information.

Seems like a mycotoxins problem to me. You should google for sure. Basically mycotoxins are produced by food fungi (bacteria).
Wheat, soy, milk etc are the worst.
He can try this diet. It's called the no grain diet. No fruits either, he can have unprocessed meats except pork and no seafood or eggs. He can eat broccoli, celery and cauliflower. Only low carb vegetables. A lot of water is good and drinking green tea (not the ones from the grocery stores).

Probably best to do this for 60 days he can go on it for 30 days. Never eat processed foods or any wheat products because they are highest to digest and contains the most mycotoxins. Rice is the healthiest grain so if he needs to eat grain during the diet he can do so and watch and see. Limit to 3 serving a day at the most.

Also when cooking meat don't heat above 200f because it turns the chemcials in the meat into toxins. You can microwave meat first then bake it or boil it. No spices or salt by the way.

You can try moderate amounts of coconut oil and/or virgin olive oil, these oils are antioxidants that kills bacteria.

Anyways I suggest you try that.

Just remember foods can heal, I am curing myself from severe bacterial ucler without any meds!

Good luck

Hi, did they check for fluid in the body cavity? Outside the organs? That would not show up in all your other tests.
