I am 8 weeks pregnant... Friday night I started with some light brown blood.. Saturday started slight bleeding red... Now sunday morning bleeding stronger red... Noticed a couple small clots. Slight cramping on left side. Went to Dr. Yesterday to have blood drawn... Going back tomorrow. I have had no blood or problems up to this point. I am convinced I am losing the baby.... I am 36 yrs old and this is my first pregnancy. I am also on synthroid medication for a thyroid disorder. The same week I conceived my dose was lowered. Seem to have a trouble keeping the thyroid numbers where they're supposed to be. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it....

Well, no doubt I had a miscarriage. Today I passed a thick tissue like clot the size of a golf ball. Called the Dr. On call. They agree. Have to go in tomorrow to make sure all the tissue is out.... guess this time it wasn't meant to be....

sorry to hear baout that. Get those levels checked prior to next pregnancy and follow the levels every six weeks. Thyroid can be expected to be at times abnormal in pregnancy if you run close to the edge on high or low values..but the test should reflect the pregnancy giving the doctor a new normal-abnormal value to look at.Good Luck
