Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

Backround info--my husband and I had sex way back on may 28, we fooled around a few times after that, but never had intercourse. We then had sex again this past sunday, so we went 9 1/2 weeks without intercourse (don't ask).

Backround info2--i have the worst problems with bcp. I have been on 3 different pills over my past three cycles. First was alesse (on that one for 11 months), then I was put on orthonovum777 (only 1 month), then I was put on orthotricyclen.

Backround info3--my husband has never cum inside of me. He can do it by himself, but never while we have sex for some reason. On top of that, instead of his penis being level to the floor while erect, it literally points straight up and lays flat on his stomach when erect. Unfortunately, seeing a doctor is not an option at this point.

I took all my active pills every single night on time, and my last active pill was saturday (day before the sex.) on every pill I was, my period always began the wednesday after my last active pill. Well, it is wednesday, and I have not gotten my period yet. I have no symptoms of anything. I have no cramps, no nausea, no breast tenderness..Nothing. I just don't have my period when I thought I would.

Is there any, any possible way that I could be pregnant??

It is very possible, you really need to take a test to see, so if you are, you can get prenatal care immediately, and syop taking those bcp...

I think I am having cramps right now, and the start of my period. I am still hoping the hormones of all the pills pushed it back 24 hours, which I have come to realize happened again when I switched from alesse to on777.

I don't start taking any active bcp until sunday.

Bcp are not 100%. I found the best birth control to be the iud. It is not hormonall and if you are with the same partner then it is something you should talk to your doctor about... It has the same failure rate as a vasectomy!

thank you for your opinion, but I am not looking for another form of birth control, and I would not use an iud. I am well informed of my options, as I have a medical degree, and an iud is not something I want to use. Even though bcp are not 100% effective, neither is an iud.
