My mother-in-law is 45 yrs old and I am sure she is starting menopause. She said she can't have menopause cause she had her ovaries removed in a partial hyst. Is this true? I keep telling her no it's not but I wanna make sure.

You go through menopause when your ovaries are removed. It is called surgical menopause. Unless to replace your bodies natural hormones with other hormones, you will go through menopause.

Is she taking hormones?
