I just started taking alesse. This is the first time i've been on birth control and the first day of being on it I had a dizzy spells, upset stomach to the point of throwing up and gas really bad. Are these things normal side effects or should I contact my doctor to let her know?

From what i've heard and from what my gyn told me about getting on bc (i too just started my first bc), it's pretty normal to feel nausea/upset stomach, etc for the the first week or so. I started nuvaring tuesday night and haven't felt any side effects, but it's different for everybody.
