Crying or Very sad i've never written on one of these boards before, but i'm not sure what else to do. I have been on many different birth control forms in the last 6 years and have yet to find one that helps. I started going on birth control because I had extreemly heavy periods (one lasted 30 days straight). Since I started I have yet to find a method where I didn't have breakthrough bleeding.

I started on the nuvaring about 9 months ago and have been having the same problem. I will bleed for two weeks one month and then the next month I am fine and will bleed for about 4 days. But now I have a even bigger problem. This month especially I am noticing that I am severly depressed. I cry all the time and feel like everything is hopeless. I am also having severe mood swings from anger to sadness to nothing.

My newest doctor wants me to try nordette for the breakthrough bleeding...Anyone know anything about it? For that matter has anyone had depression problems with the nuvaring? I don't know if it's my medicine causing this depression or maybe pmsd. Anyone got any ideas? Let me know what you think.
Thanks everyone,
aphrodity
