Low Prgesterone And Frequent Period
Posted: 11-22-05 22:44pm

Can anyone tell me if they have ever experienced very frequent periods (about two weeks apart) and low progesterone levels? I have been dealing with this problem for about a year now since I went off the pill to get pregnant. Initially I was given oral prgesterone to regulate my cycle and that did not work. My ob/gyn finally ran some blood tests and the only thing she said was abnormal was my progesterone levles.
I have to wait two months now to even get in to see a reproductive endo. Under my healthplan. In the meantime I am keeping tampax in business. My cycles are not really any heavier than they were when I was younger. But hey are so frequent that it is really making an impact on my daily life now.
Any advice or help from anyone who has had this problem would be great.

I have almost the same problem only I have never been on birth control and I want to have a baby now.. Only I can't.. We have been try'n for almost two yrs and still nothing last night I came across ovulex i've been reading about it all day so far so good. Everyone that I have talked to said that it worked. Its an all natuarl pill that helps you have your dream baby. I thought it sounded to good to be true but the more I read about it the better it sounds. If you dont have a baby in the 1st yr of being on it they will give you your money back. Its pretty cheap I thought that it would be at least a could hundred but one bottle cost less then 50 dollors. Plus they offer a 5-7 day sample free.. So im in the same boat. Vist ovulex.Com and check it out.. Let me know if it works leyange l16@yahoo.Com

From what I have found the pill form of the progeterone is least effective method. There are three other versions to try. Two vaginal very costly and an injectable. Don't know if that would work for you or not, but may be worth a try.
