Q: ????evening Primrose Oil to Soften Cervix?????

Hey there I was wondering has anyone heard or tried insertintg evening primrose oil capusles of a night time to help soften and ripen the cervix?? I only have 5 weeks to go and was thinking about giving it a go. I do take 3 per day orally. Let me know :-)

I would talk to your doctor or chemist about that one! Sounds "interesting" to me too. I have heard of using almond or olive oil and massaging it into your perineum. Perhaps that would be a better idea, as you are massaging and softening your perineum which is the bit I am most concerned about!

Evening Primrose Oil
Hi. My widwife just prescribed this to me, so I would say it is effective. I have to take 6 a day, 500 MG pills. It is supposed to soften the cervix and get it ready for birth. I am 38 weeks, and I am not even soft.
Try it it won't hurt. But don't try it too early!
