we are probably not getting
done. Actually we are not getting it
done. The questions that I posted in my
first post were not necessarily my
personal concerns. They were just
general questions that I often hear
metioned when circ is brought up.
As far as the religious aspect goes, I am
pentecostal and no christians are required
to get it done. That is biblical. I
never had a question about that. I was
simply answering the lady who said the
bible said boys had to be circumcised.
The new testament says you don't.
Therefore if you believe in the new
testament (ie not jewish) then your son
does not have to be circ. I really
appreciate all the posts from uncirc men
it helped to put my mind at ease. As a
mother, even though I feel like it is the
right decision, I also tend to second
guess myself.
My husband and I are very into doing
things naturally as far as labor and
delivey goes so it didn't seem right to
deny myself pain meds for the benefits to
the baby and then hack off a part of his
penis.You know
he doesnt even remember it for 1.
And for 2, it helps his health in the long
run. I know a lot of guys who are really
embaressed with their uncircumsized
penis's, I even know a couple who hated it
so bad, that they went & got the
procedure done, which is a thousands times
worse.
Lol, your decision though. You'll see!
=)
even if you're at the age of 30, you can
still go for circumsition. So if u decide
not to do it now, let the boy decide for
himself later. But remember if he don't
wash properly after urine, the white
discharge or whatever u call it will be
smelly. Circumsized person don't have
that problem.

In fact, always 90% or 94% of total male
population worldwide are uncircumcised. I
really sense it, since I see most of the
boys represents from every countries and
territories of the world are
uncircumcised. Women really more happy to
have sexual intercourse with boys in all
ages group(15 to 100 years old). no
problem with the uncircumcised boys of
all ages. But I'm against all boys who are
circumcised. I interview most women hyave
sexual contact with circumcised boys and
they say it can cause discomfort and
vaginal cramp. The circumcised boys tell
honestly that they have no sensitivity
when they have sexual contact. I know
almost all boys in the whole World are not
circumcised, forever.

I'm sure both sides have been represented
here.
Circumcision is UNECESSARY from a medical
stand-point, and is in fact harmful in
many cases. Sexual and penile problems
abound.

I'd say go for it and i'm not even
circumcised myself. I only say this
because if your child happens to grow up
and have tight foreskin it will be a
problem and have to get circumcised
anyways or some other method to fix the
problem which is a pain in the ass.

Actually I'd much rather have my child
develop phimosis and get a circumcision as
an adult. Adult circumcisions are far more
successful and cause much less scarring
and lessen the risk of penile damage and
sexual dysfunction, etc. It's overall a
much better procedure when done on adult
men. You don't have to rip the foreskin
off of the head before it's ready, you
don't have the high risk of accidentally
removing too much or actually mutilating
the penis itself...

I agree with Eiri. I am uncircumcised and
have phimosis so I think my opinion could
be considered quite valid when it comes to
this. I'll probably need to get a
circumcision but I'm glad that at least
it's my decision to do that and not
someone else's. Avoiding circumcision is
beneficial for most, not in my case, but
for most. Therefore infant circumcision
shouldn't be mandatory.

Even tough this post is old: HELLO!! It
shouldn't be your decision to remove a
part of your child's body. Who cares if
it's supposedly cleaner, or your child
gets made fun of or if there's a
possiblity of phimosis. It's not your
choice, it will be his when he is better
able to do so. It's better to have a
foreskin and decide to keep it or not,
than to not have one and not have a
decision in the matter at all.

actualy only 43% of babies are done now,
so by the time your kid is old enough,
half his friends wont have had it done.
There have beeen studies about the loss of
feeling, the 1st one didnt test the
forskin itself becuase there was no
comparason on an uncirced penis, screwing
the test majorly. the 2nd big test i know
of measured that there are about 20,000
nerve endings lost in the forskin and they
are very sensitive, and have a large
impact.
