hi!!!im for medical now to ksa,,im also one of you guys, victim of tb scar but until now i still cant have the guts to undergo medical because i was afraid to be rejected..i think gamca is really unfair for us..well in fact it is not our fault to acquire this disease its just that we are very unfortunate that we suffered because of this..and until now we are suffering even though we are already cured..this is discrimination..

Yesterday, I learned that i have minimal PTB right lung thru 2nd xray - apicolordotic view. though I still have to undergo series of test - -sputum, skin tests and TB blood tests I know that something will change in my life.
I am a mother of 2 boys and my husband works abroad- KSA who is about to go on vacation this November. Since learning my disease, I thought my world would crumble. worried not about my health but the health of my family and co-workers.
I still don't know how to tell my office about my health..can i hide it to my colleagues? What excuse can I make on my required sick leave of about 2 weeks or a month? Please help..though I know thru the power of our Lord and intercession of all the saints in heaven, just like you, I will survive.

BTW, my family also has a pending application in Canada as immigrant...that's another issue.. for now I need to recover from this disease....Thank you...

GAMCA and GCC TB , in humane Rules
This is really a blind and inhumane rule. If someone is not danger to public health and he/she is not sick why that person is UNFIT. GCC and GAMCA have no respect for human life. Now I asked them why dont you ban swine flu person, as more GCC person killed with that. Stop making insane rules.

TB scar.. made an excuse..
Hello every one..

I read most of your stories...

I also suffered TB last 2007. I went for medication in the Philippines for 6months. I went abroad as an innocent young woman who don't know that after TB medication a scar will remain on my lungs. I came in Dubai last October 30, 2008 as a tourist, I searched for job and luckily I found a job. On my medication day my medical result was delayed due to the TB scar they found on my lung x-ray, I under go sputum test, where you will cough deeply and expell the material that comes from the lungs into a sterile cup. This can diagnose if you still have TB. 4 days I keep coming back to the hospital for this test. LUCKILY! after all the prayers.. the result was negative, even I have scar my TB is inactive. They release the result and now I'm on my residence visa.

My problem now is how to go to other country.. If I'm lucky in this country I hope I will be more lucky again in the other country.. I really want this scar to fade away.. How?

TB scar
Hello all,

I am applying for immigration to Canada, one year ago I had the TB and had treated it and it is cured. My specialist doctor told me that there is still a scar on my right lung (externaly TB).
When the medical checking for Immigration came, I was scared and asked from my home doctor a medical report and he gave me.
While doing the test (X-Ray), It was said that my lung is ok, no scar, not symptom. No report was written to my document for Immigration. Then I did not show to the Doctor for the immigration that I had TB before coz nothing was shown in the XRay, the scar was not there.

I thank God that he helped me to clear it out for this test.
Miacle is sometimes there when we really believe on the one who is above.

I am waiting for the following stage of my Immigration.

Best
