Hi, I am a 28 yr. Old mother of 3, stepmother of 2. I am also an automotive technology student which is why I am writing about these problems. They are affecting my schooling and my peace of mind. About two yrs ago, I had a bout of hand weakness on my right side and numbness or tightness on my face on right side. I went to doc and he wanted me to get an mri, but I could not afford it and the symptoms disappeared within a few months. Then in aug. Of this year I started bloating heavily(looked 8 months pregnant) which at first I thought was related but I don't think it has anything to do with it now. So the bloating continued and then I started feeling very tired, and started feeling weakness and tightness in whole right arm and shoulder...And in my right leg and especially my right big toe and the top of my foot above my ankles. Soon I was also having muscle twitches all over my body but they were more often on the opposite side of the body (the left ) in arms, buttocks, thighs, shoulders, bottom lip, and eyes. The are not constant but seem to be chronic. Also pain in my joints even when sitting. Have had bouts of dizzinessespecially if I am concentrating on something and then turn my head even a fraction it feels as if I could throw up and I have to hold perfectly still for a long while to get it to go away. Then there are the headaches and this pain that comes and goes(really hurts bad) right under my right ear almost feels like it is under my artery or something and throbs or gets worse with movement or using my voice to much...And lastly hoarseness for about tow months which seems to have no cause. I cannot get any tests done because I have no insurance though I have been referred to a neurologist that wants 600 dollars just to walk in his door. Any help would be apreciated.
