I have been using the nuvaring birth contol for the last week...It fell out while my husband and I were having sex. I didn't even realize that it fell out, until I started spotting. Now I am having a full blown period. (again) my doctor said its from the hormones, but has anyone had this happen to them? It is so frustrating having two periods in one month. :x

If it falls out, you only have a 3 hour window to put it back in. You are having another "period" because of the hormones leaving your body, it causes a withdrawal bleed.

Re
That is exactly what my doctor said...However, I didn't realize it fell out until I started spotting a week after having it in. My problem with this, is that somehow it was pulled out during intercourse. My advice is always check to see if it is still in place after having intercourse.

Thanks for the input. I was just wondering, if this had happened to someone else. My spotting turned into a heavy period. What makes it worse is I don't mind having a period once a month, but twice. Ugh.
