Alot of people will say having unpretected sex can always lead to pregnancy.. But eh.

If you are self diciplined and can atcually say no when its not a good time and listen to your body then it can be reliable. I think its in the 90% region, it depends if he pulls out as well and if hes good at it.

Best thing you can do is start doing things like taking your temperature every morning brfore you get up, plotting this as it will spike up a little when you are ovulating. Moniter your cm, it will change significantly when you are ovulating, it will become very wet, slippery, stingy and like raw egg white. Charting your menstral cycle so you know when to be expecting to ovulate.

I have been using natural family planning for 3 years, there has only been one accident (i had been away for a month and I guess he made up for lost time!!!) which I lost anyway.. But so many scares its not even funny any more!

I recond you have a stable relatonship with pleanty of sanity cause when you a few days over people end to panic! (stupid boyfriend!!!)

I have found with me and others using nfp that sometimes cause its in the back of their mind their bodys will do stuipd things to trick them.. So just a heads up!

You can buy ovulation prediction test strips, and determine when exactly you ovulate. 2 days after you ovulate your egg dies, so there is no chance to become pregnant. I use this method because I cannot use hormones. I have a 28 day cycle, and always ovulate on day 14-15... So on day 10 I start using protection(the sponge) and stop 2 days after I ovulate
