Hi

i have had a copper iud (multiload) for a number of years now.

My cycle is always about 24 days and lasts 7 days.

This means I am bleeding about 50% of the time. It's becoming a nuisance!

Apart from that I am happy with the iud.

I cannot take any form of hormones and hesitate to try the mirena iud because I hear of people with bad reactions from the small amount of hormones in their bloodstream.

Any suggestions on how to keep the iud but lengthen the cycle?
