Q: Glans Sheds Skin

Hi,
i've had this problem for the last few days. Smegma on my glans is forming very fast (i have to wash it off like 4 times a day) and now it seems that simply my glans and foreskin have for some reason decided to simply shed off all of the uppermost layer of skin. It's a bit itchy and red but no pain or secretion. Why could this be happening? I've been ill for a while and it was hard to keep hygiene (although I did as much as I could). Also, i've never had sex, so it would be weird for it to be an std.
Thank you in advance.

I think this happens most commonly when the area is moist or wet. Do you exercise a lot? You might try putting some powder on it to help dry it out a little.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't think that could be a problem, because I don't exercise all that much, especially after my illness. So the area doesn't get wet or anything. Any more ideas? Any help will be much appreciated.

It's really pretty common with guys that are uncut. It's nothing to worry about.
