Headaches
In response to what you said about your friend having headaches, I have to tell you that I myself am a migrane sufferer. The headaches are very severe, and it isnt very possible all the time for me to be able to perform any duties, while I have these headaches. The best advice I could give you to tell your friends is of course to have her doctor check her symptoms out, and then from there they could either try and treat them, or they could send her toa neurologist. I go to a neurologist myself, who tryies to manage these episodes with medication. Tell your friend though that these headaches should be looked into further, just to make sure there is nothing else going on. Tell her to be persistent with her doctors, and make them look into it if need be. Hopr your friend feels better.
