Q: Is Cancer Hereditary? I Found Blood In My Stool.

For the past week or so, i've had bad diarrhea. My stool has been coming out light brown, and pale...Until even today.

Over the past two days my stool has begun to harden again, but at the expense of having extreme flatulence.

I figured that I was just getting over something bad I had eaten, until I wiped myself, and found blood.

I wasn't sure if it could be colon cancer since my stool isn't black, or dark colored. But my uncle has colon cancer, my grandfather (on my dads side) had cancer of the pancreas and my grandmother (on my mothers side) had lukemia.

Which makes me ask, does it pass down through family genes? And should I be worried about the blood I found when I wiped?
