Normally I get my period on the 25th of
the month and it starts off light for the
first day or so then goes to heavy for two
days then stops. A typical period for me
lasts about 4-5 days. This month I got my
period on the oct 31st which is 5 days
late and it started like normal light, but
I still have my period as of today, which
is the 18th. It's still very light to
where I only need to use a pantyliner.
I'm a little nervous to why I still have
it for this long. I have been under a lot
of stress the last month or so,would that
contribute to the abnormal period? Please
help :cry:

I had my period in september for 18 days
and then the doctor gave me pills to stop
it.
It can denfenitly be due to stress,but
there are many other reasons also so you'd
be better off if you check with your
doctor. It could be nothing, or something
quite serious.
I'm still having tests and stuff so they
can figure out whats wrong with me, I have
high levels of prolactin so they think its
some kind of swelling in the brain or
something.
You'd be safer if you could check with
your doc just to illiminate anything
serious.

Well I went to the doctor yesterday and
all she gave me was birth control to stop
my period. She said all the stress I was
under was a factor and the birth control
would get me back on track. Thanks for
your advice.
