Q: Spasms/vibrations Below Sternum

Okay, I have a weird sensation & wonder if anyone else has felt this before. I did have gallbladder surgery back in april, so have no idea if there's any connection. I'm also on prilosec otc for pain I was having in my ribs, stomach & back recently. I have a strange feeling just below my sternum where it's goes into a downward v. It feels like a spasms or vibration. It last about 5-10 seconds. I get it a number of times in an hour. Even my general practitioner has no idea what this is. It started about two weeks ago. Had a sharp chest pain in the middle of the night & it went away within a few minutes. The next morning I started to get the vibration feeling. Few days later the vibration was replaced with chest pains, which seemed to be anxiety over the spasms. Chest pain went away as my anxiety subsided, but the vibrations are still here. I had noticed this vibration feeling a few times this past year, maybe once a month, but it was never a concern, until it started happening all the time. It's not heart related, as I had a ekg a couple weeks ago & this past spring I had an ekg & wore a holter monitor. Those tests all came back normal & the pain was from my gallbladder. Also this past spring had an upper endoscope & colonoscopy & at that point everything was good. I feel good otherwise...

Has anyone ever experienced this before. It's really disconcerting.

Thanks in advance.

Ummmmmmm I do remember have some like fluttering in that area before my gb surgery. That was 6 wks ago & I cant say I have felt it since. Not sure what else to suggest. It could be related to nerves or muscles being damaged slightly during surgery maybe?

I have wondered if it maybe could be nerves still healing. My surgeon did damage/cut some nerves. I just regained all the feeling in my stomach, between the upper & lower incision, just within the last 2 months. The spasm is about an inch above the upper incision.

I do remember having spasm/vibrations a few times before gallbladder surgery, after the attacks started. I did not feel it again until about august. Now the vibrations are much more intense. I sure hope it's just nerves healing. It's a very strange feeling & often I can feel the vibration all the way into the center of my chest.

I have had these feelings for over 2 weeks now. I've never had any surgerys and am really starting to wonder what it is from. I've never felt them before and its on my lower right side of my stomach (appendix region). Its been pretty constant, but its not painful. I'm thinking it could be stress related.
