I am getting confused. I have ed for a year and a half and the urologists said all my blood tests are fine and the problem is in my head. I am 20 and in good health with little alcohol use and no drugs other then wellbutrin for the past 2 months. The therapist said she thinks it may be medical and there is nothing psychological that she can find and said she cant help me. What do I do now? Viagra and other drugs dont really work, they improve blood flow but I still cant hard. Has anyone even heard of a 20 year old getting a penile implant? I hate the fact that this may be something I might have to consider. What more can I do besides relax and hope things get better?

Implants may help but, considering your age, you might want to do what you can to solve it via another method first.

Just a thought, redzonebikes - how deeply has your doctor gone into this with you?

Is this problem only when you're with girls, or do you have a problem, say at a lads night out at a strip club or when you're alone with a girlie mag or girlie images on your pc screen?

Do you have a strong desire for sex, or are there no real urges?

When you're alone, can you get and erection and can you maintain it?

Do you ejaculate and is your penis erect at that stage?

Really and truly, a doctor needs to be in possession of all the facts - unfortunately, many have a stereotype image of ed - I have had to put the men's health forum of our own nhs right on that score!

I really, really hope you can get an answer to your problems! A few things you could try:

1. As much exposure to natural sunlight as possible - ie a holiday (vacation) in a sunny place. (the gland producing testosterone is much more active in sunlight - it is located somewhere around the eyes)

2. Try taking multi-vitamin supplements, just for a few weeks. Sometimes physical ed problems can be down to vitamin deficiency.

3. Try eating oily fish - sardines, mackarel, tuna etc a couple of times a week. Not only do the oily fish properties help with brain power, they can enhance the sex drive too.

4. Relax, chill and try gentle stroking exercises on your old john thomas when taking a bath!

Good luck and keep smiling!

I can still ejactulate, but I never get as hard as idid when I was 18, I still have the desire to have sex, although it has been lowered due to this problem, nut I want nothing more than to have sex or at least masturbate with a hard on. This would solve all my problems, but I have to deal with it. It takes a long time to semi get it up but if I stop I goes away instantly. But I noticed that I slowly began to lose sexual ability, but since the first time it happened I have been reliant on viagra but that just quit worling for some reason
