Keep in mind they don't put you to sleep and no pain meds either..
You lay on an surgical table and spead 'em. Using a syringe, they inject dye into your fallopian tubes via your vagina. With the use of a x-ray, they can detect how far up the dye is able to travel... So there fore they will see if there is any blockage, be it scar tissue, build up.. Whatever.
If feels like really sharp stabbing pain. If you relax(believe me it's hard) it's a little better.
Afterwards you may bleed... I almost fainted!
So when I went to my gyn for a follow up 6 weeks later.. I was pregnant!
I learned then that my right tube was completely blocked and my left was blocked too, but they were able to push through a little..
