Ok. I've been looking around and it seems like I might have balantitis. My foreskin is swollen and red on the left side and bottomside of my penis. I'm afraid there might be an infection because my girlfriend and I were making out and it might have been a little too rough, because afterwards parts of my penis were very sore. The front or top (not tip) of the head, the upper and slightly left area on my foreskin, and the bottom of the head on the foreskin had small reddish areas (i think the outer tissue was rubbed off in those places).

Also, I don't think my foreskin is "normal" because it rests so that most of the head of my penis is exposed, but its not tight or anything, I can pull it all the way forward and back without any resistence.

I don't shower enough (about 3 times a week) so i'm going to start showering a bit more.
But i'm wondering if I just did something that wasn't too smart... I just spent some time in the bathroom and I put a drop of hydrogen peroxide on the swollen red area of my foreskin and wow did that thing foam. So I spent time cleaning it up and repeating until it did not foam much anymore.

Any advice on what I should start doing, continue doing, or stop doing?

By the way, if it makes any difference i'm 15 years old.

Thanks

Showering is very important, especialy when you're uncut! If the problem consists, you need to go see a doctor.

Ok, its been almost a week since this started, and for the last few days i've been washing with hydrogen peroxide 3 - 5 times a day. Most of the swelling has gone down, but there is still redness on the left side (none whatsoever on right side) still foams a lot when I clean with hydrogen peroxide (but doesn't foam at all on right side). I also dry it with blowdryer on normal (not heated) air, becaue I read it should be kept dry.
I'm just wondering what I should do now.

It sounds like what you are doing is helping. Continue a while longer until the hydrogen peroxide no longer reacts; of course meaning that there is no longer the makings of an infection. Any idea at all of what might have caused this?

I get this regularly,it's due to over and prolonged use, sometimes rough oral will produse this effect ,it looks much worse than in fact it is ,no treatment is needed as this condition always clears up of its own accord, even if the skin is broaken,if you can't wait a few days to have sex this swelling to go down with a little savlon applied twice a day
