I went to my local dollar store yesterday to purchase a pregnancy test, and the only tests they had were a brand called b-sure, so I grabbed 2 for $2.18. I took them home and I reseached the name on the internet and come to find out that in march of this year the manufacturer of this brand voluntaraly took it off the shelves because they said it was sometimes giving false results (pos. And neg), but don't all tests have a chance of being wrong?? Anyway I decided to try it anyway, and this morning when I went to open the box I also noticed that it expired last month, now will this truley make it invalid??? Just wondering because I sure feel pregnant but my period is still about 5 or 6 day away, but I tested with the darn thing anyway, but of course it came out neg. So I guess I will just have to wait it out, but I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this brand and its quality? Thanks, kelly j.
P.S. Anyone have an answer or reply to my thyroid post??

Well they have a ummm like a percentage of how offen they can be wrong like f. D. A allowable failure rate for condoms is 4 in 1000 picked randomly so if they are being wrong more offen than they should they will pull 'em

So do you think with the fact that I am testing verry early, the test being recalled and expired (by one month) the results arent to be too trusted, I am going to test again with the second test on sunday that way it is closer to when my period usually starts, but what ever the outcome, with all the symptoms I have been having I am going to mention it to my Dr. On monday and maybe he will test me> who knows, I am begining to think I may be imagining it all, but the symptoms are soo real it is undeniable something is wrong, just this would be what I want to be wrong, so maybe I am thinking too far into it. Sorry babbling, I am just soo emotionally spent and I really havent told anyone except you guys here in the forum so I am kinda alone for right now until I know more.. Thanks for listening, and feel free to share your stories with me on how you felt when you were first preggers and if you knew you were befor any tests said so. Take care, kelly j.
