Q: Line On the Underside of My Penis....

Hi,

i have this little deformity and not sure if its just normal for my age or not. I am 17 and uncircumsized. The underside has a line (i can feel lit) running down from half way to the top of my penis when the skin is not pullled down. It splits up to a y on the top. It is really sensitive, but I am not sure if this is ok or not and I am afraid to be embarrassed by a girl... Let me know thanks

I think that you are refering to your frenulum. All guys have it and it is very sensitive, and for that matter, very pleasurable portion of skin on the bottom of the penis, just below the head. It's not a deformity at all. I think it tends to be a little more sensitive in an uncomforting way on those that are uncut, than on guys that are cut.

not sure... Noticed it about 3 years ago... Its wierd, cause it splits at the top when the skin is closed.

Also I do not think it is the frenulum cause it is below that, and longer. It is moire noticable then that as well. I want to ask a doctor but it is embarrassing.

Don't be embarassed about seeing a doctor.

Is it on the top or bottom? Or does it go from the bottom to the top? Where is it? I can't quite make it out from your discription above...

its on the bottom of my penis. It runs about half way of the bottom side of my penis to the top (when skin isnt pulled down) and it splits into a y. Really sensitive (not a painful way) and I can actually feel it if I moved my fingers across it.

If in doubt, have it checked out. Do not ever be embarrased. We are not drs here. By having it checked out will relieve your conscious and you will know something more certain.
Good luck!

Yeah, just go get it checked out, that way you won't have to worry about it.

"when in doubt, check it out!" lol.

line under penis
Pawel-B you have nothing to worry about. That is normal. Every one of us guys has it. It is called the 'RAPHAE'. when we are foetuses we have the genitals like that of a girl but then our penis grows and the testicles come down near the sides of the penis and the long opening closes up to form our long urethra through which we pass urine and semen. The raphae is where it closed up.
