I have tarlov cysts in my sacrum. Does anyone know of a neurosurgeon in south carolina that is familiar with these cysts? I am experiencing a lot of pain. Been to two neurosurgeons in my city who claim there is nothing they can do for me. One claimed the cysts were not the cause of my pain and other symptoms, but nothing on the mri accounted for my pain and other symptoms so she dismissed it as muscular.

Has anyone found a doctor who can diagnose tarlov cysts as causing their symptoms? I, think that is my problem since that is all that is showing in my MRI

Tarlov Cyst
Yes, Dr.Fiegenbaum in Kansas City Mo. If you look in the "Tarlov Cyst Assoc." under the files section, they have a list of Neurosurgeons that deal with Tarlov Cysts. Don't give up. There is help out there. Tarlov Cysts do cause pain. Dr. F. seems to be the favorite and the one that will be operating on me soon. I wish you luck, Kerry
