Q: Thyroid Level In Pregnancy

Well I just got back from my eye neurologist, and he had ordered blood work on me a week ago to check, my vitamin levels, and my thyroid among other things, so I went in today and he said my thyroid levels were really high (the high norm at my lab was like 180 something) and my level was in the 230's and I have had my thyroid checked every 6 months for the last few yrs and it has always come back normal. Is a high thyroid level a sign of pregnancy?? I haven't mentioned pregnancy as a possibility to him because, well frankly I didnt think he needed to know my personal info just yet, but he had me send my blood work over to my primary care Dr. And now I have an appointment with him on monday, so I will deffinately be telling him it is a possibility and maybe he can do a urine test on me while I am there, he has been my Dr. Since I was like 4yrs old so I think he would do it just to ease my mind.

So I was just wondering if anyone noticed their thyroid levels change when they were in early pregnancy? Thanks kelly j.
