Teen Pregnancy Forum - After You Have the Baby...

Hey guys not to be gross or anything but my daughter kaylee is two months old and I bled for like 5 weeks after that...I went to my gyno and she gave me birth control but she said I have to wait for my period untill I can take them...How long does it usually take to have another one after you have your baby?

It all depends on you and if you breastfeed. You can never really tell ppl are different I bf and got my period back 2 months after but I know a lot ppl that didn't get theirs back until 8-9 months after baby. My doctor told me to go ahead and start taking my bc even though I haven't had my period yet and yea that worked great..Lol.. I had to stop taking it it made me looney and I am prego again b/c of that..

I was only on my period for about 2 weeks, but if you are breastfeeding it could be diffrent
