I don't know why you're so caught up on getting pregnant, you talk as if its a doll to play with.

Your going to end up scaring your boyfriend away and you'll be all by yourself with that baby, which isnt a situation you wanna be in because its harder than ya think.

You have to support this baby for the rest of its life, you dont come first anymore when you have a baby, you think when a child turns 18 they move out and live on with their own life?

I know plenty of people who still live with mommy & daddy and their 25 and up, your kids are forever and I suggest you think about this a lot more before you act, because you'll end up regretting it.

Not regretting your child, but regretting the fact that you didnt wait, theres a good chance you may loose your boyfriend.

Not to mention

are you in school?
Do you have a car?
A job?

I'm 17 and live on my own, am going to college soon, have a car and a job.

And trust me, you have no idea how hard that is just doing it by myself.

Plus I have a little one on the way to support, feed,buy clothes for and doctor bills.

Getting my baby circumsized is almost 200 dollars.

You not only have to be physically ready for a baby, but emotionally aswell.

I will not be surprised one bit when you "turn out" pregnant in the near future :roll:

my father gave us all two options go to school or move out at 18, its called tough love but i'm happy my dad made my life hard as my life is getting easier. Like michelle said no doubt you will be getting prego soon but before you do answer these questions............

Are you ready for lack of sleep?? Its not just the first year, it goes on
are you financially stable"?
Do you have patience?
Do you have daycare ready?
Do you have healthcare?
A roof over your head?
A solid relationship?
Are you ready to teach them life and morals?
Are you ready to put yourself second?
Are you ready to disicpline (you dont want your kid walking all over you)
can you stay calm when your child is sick/crying?
There are so many questions you need to ask you self before you are ready fo a child

although some people will say kids sleep through the night you have to remeber when they are sick they dont and when they dont come back on curfew and you sit their worrying for x amount of hours!!

How are you going to teach any child of yours responsibilty and dicipline when it seems that you your self dont have any.

How do you know she doesnt have any responsibility?

She may not be able to type well but she could be the most wonderful mom in the world?

Thanks again dalicialynn. And yeah im not trying to get preggo right now, I want to wait. Im thinking once im halfway (atleast) threw grade 12 ill be fine, but right now, no! I wouldnt be able to be ready for one, but if something happend, alright, I work with it. My bf wont get scared off. He told me ok. Plus his dads old gf got preggo, and then she had it and ran away, his dad dosnt know where they went, and dosnt even know if he has a boy a girl. The woman just wont tell him. He also has a restraining order from them to, I dont know why. My bf told me he could never handle knowing he has a kid out there. And no matter what happend between us, he'd always be there for his child. I never want to have a child with a split up family. I know from 1st hand experiance it hurts alot to not be able to have your parents in the same room with out insults flying around. So you see I have listend. I just want you to realize what your walking into if you do get preggers, to be honest there are somedays im terrified of having number 2 but im already prego and have to deal with it the best way I can, I think if I didnt have my husband I would have crashed and burned by now...

My 15 mths old was up last night she wanted to play at 12:30 and for an hour and a half I had to lie her back down everytime she stood up, she screamed I hated it but you have to do it. I just want you kids are fun when they're behaving and the rest of the time it really tries your patience, even now my daughter is still going full blast and shes not sick.

I pay roughly around 50$ for diapers and wipes a month and another 10-80 for clothes and winter is more expensive, I knew what I was getting into but I want my daughter to have the best without being spoiled.

Im happy you have someone just make sure your prepared if get prego your whole life changes in a good way but it has its days....

Just to add to what jess said, some children are born with abnormalities, some develop along the way.
Brian, my 6 year old son has adhd and is starting to develop calcium build up inside his kidney's which they are monitoring for stones.
Jordan, my youngest has developmental delays.... He sees multiple doctors and specialists for feeding, nutrition, speech and fine motor skills.

Like I said earlier im gonna wait because I dont know if I can handle it right now, I want to be 100% sure. Me and my bf are going to wait 8 months or so and we'll talk about it togeather again and see if we think we're ready. If so then we will ttc then, but not now. I want to get my schooling done. I want my future children to have the best I can giev them.

Theres a different between using protection, and thinking whatever happens just happens.

If you dont want a baby then use protection, but if your just saying whatever happens happens then your obviously trying.

I have made my mind. Like I said earlier in the forum. Me and my boyfriend both agree on it, so everything works out fine. So please accept it. Maybe what im doing isnt right for you guys, but its right with us.

I know you think you are in love, but you ar estill very young. I think you should take precaustions and wait until marriage to try to have a baby.

When I was 18 I was with someone who I almost married. I am sooooo glad that I didnt now.

I didnt marry until I was 25 but I am so glad I found the right one.
