Q: Pain In My Left Leg

I have been having this pain in my left leg for some time now. I haven't even paid attention to how long because I was told it was my psyatic (spelling is wrong, I know...But not sure how to spell it) nerve. Lately it's been hurting so bad, moslty when I walk...That I have to limp to keep it from hurting anymore. It even hurts if I sleep on that side at night. Now today is the worse it's ever been and I can't even describe how it feels. Like when I lift my leg to walk it seems something is pulling, or breaking and just stings! Has anyone else experienced this? I am a heavy set person to begin with and now i'm just about 6 months along, and have gained 1lb throughout my pregnancy so far. If that info helps any....
I'm not due to go back to the doc until dec. 7th so I can stick it out until then. I do have to call tho, because they want me to take the diabetes test thing when i'm exactly 28 weeks, and that won't be for a week after my appointment, and it sounded like they wanted me to have that done by my next appointment. So we'll see. Thanks for listening!

I really don't know what can be done about this but I know exactly what you are talking about.

I was just talking to my fiancee about this two days ago. I have read that it is a nerve but I don't see how it is being affected. I am only 111lbs (gained 8 so far) I am 17 weeks pregnant and I am not very big at all, but I keep getting those pains usually in my right leg and sometimes in my left, every time I get up from a chair or when I am getting up from sitting on the ground and then for a short period after that while I am walking. It really sucks!!!!

I don't even want to think about how bad it might get as time goes on

Not only is my little one sitting on my nerve but one of the lower disks in my bac back(s1) is swollen and has been for awhile because of hormones and pressure from baby.

My friend says to try a maternity belt, I havent but supposedly it work, im just using a product like rub535 and it feels alot better doesnt always take it away but it relieves some of the pain. Another thing to try is stretching hoping the baby will move the little buggers really want tomake us uncomfortable lol!!!

Wish you luck but I think we all go through it

Thanks for the info ladies! My baby is very active so I would think she's not on that nerve constantly, but maybe she's got ahold of it lol. It hurts like crazy but I don't mind it one bit because I know what my prize is in the end! We're so anxious for the baby to get here. When I was first pregnant the time went so slow. Now the time seems to be flying by and I forget just how far along I am, I have to sit down and figure it out!
So that rub535 cream, where can I get that at? Any pharmacy I would imagine, but it's hard telling! Again, thanks for your time and info.

Pain in my right leg
I have pain in my right leg, going down to my toes and they are often numb or tingling. It goes all the way up to my neck on my right side...my chiropractor couldnt get to it...the only relief i have is laying down on the opposite side.
I'm 5 months pregnant, doc only says i can take tylonol, but it doesnt touch it...I'm 140 pounds...doc says that as i get bigger it will get worse cuz the stretching and the growing adds pressure...has anyone else noticed as time goes on if they get better or worse...cuz i'm constantly breaking down in tears cuz the pain...
