Q: Twins And Period Pregnant?

Alright i've been ttc, and about a week or more ago I was more "fertile" or so the calendar says. I worked very hard that week to get pregnant, so i'm not sure if I am!

2 days ago my period came, and it would be 2 weeks early! I mean litterly right after I was ovulating, or around that time. Very unusual for me.

Anyways one I was on birth control but stopped over a month ago, two, twins run in my family, my mother is a twin, so i'm thinking this may be another explanation

for one....Could the pill still be affecting me and making sure i'm not getting pregnant if the egg got fertilized???? And two if twins run in my family, I am releasing 2 eggs arent i? So could one have not been fertilized, and thats why I have a period?

I would love to hear from mothers with twins, to see if this happened to them at all....A period?!? Otherwise if you can give me some advice it would be wonderful!

I heard that it takes about three months for your periods to go back to normal after you go off bc pills, so that could be making your periods irregular.

Could what you thought was a period have been implantation bleeding?

In your family, are the twins idetical or fraternal? Fraternal twins run ion the family, not identical. And no matter how regular your periods usually are, once getting off birth control, your periods are very irregular. Good luck!
