Ibuprofen And Ulcerated Colon Posted: 11-15-05 11:44am


I've been diagnosed with ibuprofen related ulcers in my colon. It's been two months and i'm still following the special diet, if I veer I have blood in my stools and more bms. Has anyone ever heard of this condition? I can find nothing on the internet about ulcerated colon due to ibuprofen.

Thanks for the input. I'm very healthy and only 45 it amazes me that I have such a "sensitve colon" as my gi doctor put it. Ibuprofen? Who would have thought it... At least now i'm on my way to healing the ulcers instead of exacerbating the condition as I did for over a year and a half.
