Hi my name is kayla. I am 16 and I just found out today that...I'm pregnant. I am debating whether or not to have an abortion. I somewhat think it's wrong and the "easy way out" plus there are risks involved with that. On the other hand, having the baby would be really difficult and I have no idea how to go about telling my parents that their 16 year old daughter is going to have a baby. My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year now and I know this would not be a bad relationship to bring a baby into but yea. I know people who, at a young age have concieved a child (not personally, but yea) but I really don't know what to do. If there is anyone out there who could help me in any way...Please I really need your advice!! I'm panicking and can't concentrate on school and I don't know who I can talk to about it.
Kayla

How old is your bf? Can he get a job that can get you two an apparment and food and the needs of a baby? Is there people who would help you out? Im sure that telling your parents wont be nearly as bad as you think, (thou I would be scared too) just leave them a note. Or figure out a plan of what you plan to do so they will realise your responisble to figure out what you can do and your oppitions you have. Sorry im not much help

What does your b/f think about the abortion idea? Well anyways here is my story..... I got pregnant at 15 and got married had my son at 16. My parents were upset but they got over it. I am sure yours will do the same. They will still love you and when the baby is born love it. Yea it will be a little bit harder b/c of your age but beleive me I know a lot of teen moms that are better parents than some 35 year olds I know. You can do it girl. Give that little baby a chance and when you have it you will see that it was truley a blessing.
