Q: Inactive Pills??!!help!!

I just started taking birth control about a month ago. I am supposed to get my period when I am taking the "inactive pills" which is the last row of pills, but I started my period early, but I am still on the last row of active pills. When I take the last active pills, should I skip the inactive pills and just go on to the next pack, sense will have already had my period? If I take the inactive pills after my period is over, and I have sex, could I get pregnant?

The same thing happened to me when I first started taking bc. The reason for me was because I skipped a pill during my first pack, so it caused my period to come on early. I called my local health department and asked what I should do, and I was told to keep taking the pills all the way through, even the inactive pills. Unfortunately, that meant that I had my period two weeks in a row instead of one. If that is the case with you, you should do the same thing, and there is a chance of you getting pregnant so you should use a back up method of birth control for at least a week.
