Infectious Diseases Forum - Hpv And Aldara

I just discovered I have hpv. I went to the local clinic today and they gave me a prescription for aldara. I only have two warts that are not large at all. I was just wondering if anyone has used aldara, they also gave me the choice of freezing them, which is free, aldara is going to cost me $200, but that is not the problem. I just want to know how effective aldara has been for other people, and if anyone has had any warts frozen off, and if so is it painful? I also wanted to know if anyone has had hpv, and used aldara and never had the warts return? I am very worried about getting rid of them and them comming back. Does it ever happen where they are treated and never returned? Thank you for you help, I really appreciate it!

Hey ahsley, aladra works like a charm, it worked wonders for me I was diagnosed with warts when I was 17 and took the cream and they never came back but now I am having other problems with the diease, so please be aware that you have to have pap smears every 6 months ok?

Yes Aldara Does Work

Yes I used aldara and repivar and it tooks 3 days for two large clusters of small warts to fade away from my anal region. Thank god for these two products... Aldara is derived from a plant and is a cream... Repivar is an herbal supplement that helps your immune system while you are fighting off the virus. I highly advise using both treatments... Finally there is a cure!
