I'm a 18 years old failry healthy female and am worried about the possible risks to my heart with being on the birth control pill. I have been on it for about 2 years now. My aunt died when she was 23, and she was on the pill. This was in the 70's though, and the pill was a lot riskier. My dad also has extremely low blood pressure. My question is am I at any great risk of having a heart attack or stroke due to my birthcontrol pill because it runs in my family? If I have any chest pains now could they be related?

Hmm, my g/f is on the pill, she had chest pains but they where from anxiety. If your pills come with a book, read it, if your experiencing chest pains on it, because in the book it tells you what might be happaning.
