Cbc Question

I recently had a cbc drawn because of a
petechia like rash, sore throat and low
grade fever.
The result was
wbc 9.7
platelets 240,000
and rbc and hct all within nromal
limits...
Should I be concerned with the wbc a
little elevated???

Wow your platlets are amazing good job
here is to your health the wbc is fine
what was your fever though?

|
You wbc is well within normal range. I
just came back with a wbc of 11.1, and my
doctor said it was probably just an
infection. Normal is 4.8 - 10.8
|
