Hi everyone!
In 2003 I was using a computer joystick for about 3 hours. The next morning I experienced a numb, needles and pins feeling in my right hand, pinky and ring fingers. A portion of my palm from where these two fingers originate felt numb as well.
I also experienced shoulder pain, as if I was throwing a cricket ball 1000 times.
I saw a doctor who explained it's only inflamation, he gave my some ibuprofen.
It is now 2 years later and the pain is fluctuating, coming and going in phases.
The sensation in my hand and fingers have completely returned and recovered, but the shoulder pain has worsened.
Is it possible that I could have damaged/broken the cartilage inside my shoulder joint, and that the scar is now physically causing my nerve/tissue to pinch causing the pain.
Maybe someone out there had the same problem, and i'm not too sure what to do, coz everytime I see the doctor, he gives me some ibuprofen.
I want to solve the cause of the pain, not still the pain and hide what's really happening. I am a graphics designer and artist and I wouldn't want to lose the use of my right hand, ever!
