Hey *
ive got a bit of a problem! About 12 days ago I found out I was pregnant. I did a blood test and it came back as 850 (hcg level) they said I was about 6 weeks 3 days but couldnt see anything in the womb. After 2 days they repeated the test and it more than doubled it was 1850,they said it was fine and booked a scan after a week. (they said I was probably less pregnant than 6 weeks thats why they couldnt see anything) I went there this friday and they said they could see the gestation sac and the yolk sac forming but no baby, again she said its probably too early lets give it another week!
I am so worried! What if the baby is not forming well? I mean according to the 'calendar' I should be about 8 weeks pregnant now! And they still cant see the baby :'(

this is my first pregnancy and I really want this baby!!!!! I am so scared in case this is leading to a miscarriage!

Plz help! Did this happened to anyone else???????

Luv*kisses

I have never heard of anyone doing an u/s that early. At my last doc's appt. She was hesitant to listen for the heartbeat and said they don't do u/s til like week 20. I wouldn't worry but then again i'm not an expert.

I thought I answered this post already. The baby is not always seem this early. My daughter in law had 2 one in uterus and one outside. They missed the baby in uterus, when doing can just seen a sac. 3 days later seem yoke sac and fetal pole. They usually see yoke sac before see fetal pole. Hcg is climbing everything should be fine--dont fret. Worry is bad for the baby.

Always

Hey! I'm a second year ultrasound student. The other's are right you may not be as far along as you think. It's hard to tell this early in the pregnancy. If your hcg more than doubled I wouldnt be worried. To determine if the embryo is developing, they can look at the size of the yolk sac, and if it was abnormal im sure they would have told you. The fetal pole should be visable transvaginally at 6 weeks, and transabdominally at 6 and a half weeks, and should be approximately 4 mm long. Wait until your next ultrasound i'm sure everything will turn out fine. Please dont worry you are at the most critical time of your pregnancy right now. Feel free to ask any questions.

She would be something like 26 weeks by now if .Dr's had not killed them.

She was pregnant inside uterus and outside uterus. They missed the baby in her uterus(only seen a sac), then gave her methotrexate to kill baby on her ovary--killing perfectly normal baby in uterus too. She had the worse miscarriage ever. She is filing lawsuit on hospital in lafayette for killing her viable twin.

She was passing clots the size of footballs. She bled so bad, and I wish I had been there for her more, that first night. Since she lived with me and her mother was so far away. I was up all night off and on, but she needed me more. I feel bad now, I wasnt there for her enough. So hard for her. She's just a little girl in 18 year old body. You always regret things when you step away from the picture and look in. All my kids are still in indiana. All three of mine, and all three of their significant others. I love them all so much. Not to mention my 2 grandbabys there too. We have never been apart

How come some of them didn't come with you, if they were living with you there?

They just all had their reasons, and decided to stay. But every thing is falling down around them now. Youngest and middle child are both broke up from their sig. Others. Eldest is getting gallbladder out, and his only car broke down. Middle child cant pay her rent by herself--dont know what she will do.

Hope you had a nice thanksgiving we did
