Hi all,

i have had sinus problems for around 10yrs I am now 29. I have had 3 operations, my most recent one was 3 weeks ago. It was a septoplasty with endoscopic surgery. I want to ask other people that have had endoscopic surgery did it rectify their problems and how long did it take.

I am sleeping excellent now I can breath better, but I still very fatigue and I get face pressure/pain. My nose is completely clear which is good. I still feel stiffness around the base of the skull neck area. Ringing ears pressure pain around the ears. My eyes feel strained and have muscular pain when moving my eyes worse in the mornings. I am now using nasonex to prevent polyps but it gives me a slight bleed nose.

I like to hear what symptoms other people had and whether they were fixed after the surgery.

Post Endoscopic Surgery
Ben, I had just surgery in 1999. It was the most painful, yet freeing thing I ever did. I had spent years with face headaches and ears popping, etc. Finally a dentist I had gone to for what I swore was a root canal, sent me to his ent guy. They took an xray of my teeth and ended up catching site of my sinuses. Lucky, I guess.
Anyway...My face stayed sore for about a year or so...Mostly when it was cold outside. Even now, the cold wind will make my face ache badly. In the end it was all worth it and I haven't had a sinus infection since then either. :d

Sinus Surgery
Thanks I don't of any people that have a has endoscopic surgery. I have lived with sinus problems for so long I don't know what is normal or not.

The facial pain is getting better but is still lingering, it's good to hear it from someone else.

Thanks again.
