I got mirena iud inserted about 4 weeks ago 10 weeks after I had baby number 5. Since I got it I have had no stop light bleeding. I also have very mild crapping once in a while. Anyone else had problems with mirena and would it be best to go see my obgyn and get it removed???
Thanks for any help

It's very common to have spotting for the first 3-6 months & your period may be irregular while your body adjusts. It should start to get better in the next couple of months, but if things get worse or you start having pain or something then you should go see your doctor.

I too had spotting for about the first 5-6 weeks after I had it inserted. It stopped for about a month and then I only had mild bleeding for a couple of days so it looks like now that my period may be nearly non-existent! I'd say it's definitely worth it!!
