Ed Problem/ Psychological?

basically, I am having ed problems and i'm not sure how to fix the situation. I am only 20 years old but it seems this problem has been plaguing me for a couple years. I can get an erection when I masturbate but it is not as hard as it was in the past. I now have to start stroking my dick heavily before I can get an erection. I no longer get spontaneous erections. I sometimes get only morning half-wood. Once I didn't even get hard until right before I came. Am I desensitized to all the porn and touch i've exerienced over the years?


I'm a virgin, part of the reason is because i'm frightened of stds. I got a coldsore in high school and my friends made fun of me and told me I had herpes. This seriousy messed me up. I barely ever get coldsores. Last one was a year and a half ago, it still eats away my mind. Every morning I look in the mirror and inspect and if even a part of my lips are chapped I freak out and it is on my mind all day. Though I kiss girls often, I always fear that they will get a coldsore and say I gave them herpes.


One time I made out with a hot promiscuous person and I was afraid she gave me hiv, even though it makes no sense whatsoever. So I waited six months and got tested. Of course it was negative but this just goes to show how messed up in the brain I am.


Also, in high school, I had an immense fear I had herpes on my dick because there was discoloration on part of the shaft. I kept it to myself for 6 months and eventually told my parents and went to the doctor where he said its nothing. It's funny, I got releived for about a week then I staring worrying about a coldsore I thought I had (it was chapped lips)

i'm trying to put this all behind me. I stopped looking at porn for a month recently but got back on. My ed did not get substancialy better anways.




The last times my dick came alive were: at a dance with a girl I really cared about, she was only holding my hand but I felt more alive than I did with a hot promiscuous person I was fingerbanging. And another girl I was playfully wresting with walking around a park. It seems when things get overly sexual my dick will not cooperate. Is it the fear of stds? Fear of impotence?


I am going out with a really hot girl on monday. I've alreay madeout with her and im sure shes going to want to do more. I've never given or received oral. I hope I can get it up.


What should I do? I think i'm going to try to get as far as I can on the date and if my dick doesnt' work ill see the doctor.


Should I just jump in to sex? Part of that things it will alleviate my fears and part thinks I will get freaked out abot the fear of stds, ed, and the fact that i'm inexpereinced(though i've read so many techical books on the subject i'm sure i'll be a great lay if I can just get and keep it up; know how to please the cliotirs, gspot, etc.)



ahh, reading my post makes me sound like a neurotic freak. I'm hoping its all in my head but even if it is, where do I go from here? My mind wants to medical question a hot chick? The rest of my body does, but my dick doesnt cooperate.



What do I do???
