Q: Swollen Lymph Nodes - 6months Now

Hello, maybe someone can give me some insight to my situation.

In june of this year, I became sick (flu like symptoms) with a real bad cough, sore throat. I got better within a few days, however I had two swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck....The swellings didn't go away.

Pain in my neck radiating to my head has been going on for months now. I actually saw a doctor 2 months later (aug) and he took blood tests and could not find anything wrong with me. He did a biopsy by removing my deep cervical lymph node, and it came back as hyperreactive, not cancerous as I was worried.

But now, since august, I have gotton another swelling on my left side behind my ear, and just recently (november) more swellings on my right side of my neck, and under my jaw 4 swellings. I can't understand if my blood tests are normal, what can be causing these new swellings, and why haven't the old ones gone away? I have tested neg for mono numerous times....And I feel healthy. I'm worried at the rate i'm going, a new lymph node swells every month. My neck is still hurting. Can anyone give me some advice to what I should do, and if anyone has been in the same boat I have been? What's going on?? :?

Thank you.

Swollen Lymph Gland
Hey,
maybe someone can help, I have had one swollen lymph gland for about six months now, it came on when I got symptoms of the cold and flu, I visited three doctors one said it maybe something to do with a skin disorder of the scalp, another told me possibly it could be glandular fever and the third refused to believe anything was wrong. I'm really worried it could be something bad but don't know how to go forward from here as it seems all the doctors I have visited are unable to help. Anyone had similar probs?

Jaw Lump
Can anyone help,
have a lump/swelling on the underside(bottom edge) of my left jaw, nothing is visible from inside or outside of the mouth, no dental problems, and no fever or other symptoms, other than an occasional sharp pain in the head.
I don't grind my teeth or over clamp my jaw.
The swelling goes up (mandarin orange size and I feel really tired and sleepy when this happens, and at other times as now, it is quite sizable (grape size).
There has been no apparent reason for the lymph glands to swell ie no flu or infections or viruses known... So help?

Swollen Glands
Amazing ! Never thought I would find anyone else with this problem. Doctors just look with confussion. I have them on the back of my neck and one above the eyebrow. At first they did not hurt going on 6 years now. This year I have started passing out and the worst headaches I have ever had, so bad in fact my pulse hits 140 with blood pressure over 200.
Nothing kills the pain ,not even morphine.

I fear the next headache could lead to stroke or heart attack. Will be having test this coming week and will inform anyone who is interested of the results . Just send email and please put subject line as ".............
Headaches" I will not open anything without that subject.
God bless all and pray your pain goes away.
Sincerely.......Mary

Thyroid and ENT problem
Maybe someone can help me out as well. I have had a previous condition with Thyroid surgery 3 years ago. Recently this year for the past 9 months I have had consistent swollen lymph nodes under my ear, under my chin and have migraines so bad i can't eat solid foods and they don't stay in the body, I also have a very tight feeling in my throat like a really bad aftertaste that won't go away. It is very difficult to swallow and sometimes it doesnt go down at all. My Endocronologist told me to see an ENT and so i am not sure what the heck is going on but i really would like it to be solved because all my symptoms are more towards a thyroid problem gaining weight all of a sudden, loose of hair and they say that my thyroid is fine and have me see an ENT what the heck is he going to say about my intense weight gain, fatigueness, loss of concentration and the continous pain on the left side. Can someone help out.

Swollen lymph node - bump behind left ear
From what i have been reading, it's most likely a swollen lymph node fighting off an infection. Maybe fungal. I have a slight swollen node behind my left ear and so does my 10 yr old daughter. Hers is bigger. No other symptoms. Although we think hers started when at a sleep over in sports complex. She and I also have pink scabs on our head along the part line. She has had her bump from months and it was going down. Then she came down with a little cold and the bump and scab returned. So pretty sure it an infection fighting symptom. Especially if the lump is hard and immovable. A soft lymph node is more cause for concern. Hope that helps.
