Q: Weird Discharge...should I Worry?

I've been on the pill (ortho tricylen lo) for about 6 months now, so my body is used to it. I never really had any side effects from it. For the last two months or so I have been having a thick discharge for a few weeks after my period and sometimes for the whole month. There is no smell or anything, but I can just feel it and sometimes it is pretty dark. I hate doctors, but is it something to worry about or not? Thanks for any help in advance!

My Personal Opinion...
As much as a trip to the gyno is no picnic, I would suggest anyone go to the doctor with an abnormal discharge. Clear dischage is normal, even daily. A dark, thick discharge that lasts for a prolonged period of time is something you should discuss with your doctor. You should deffinately schedule an appointment to meet with your doctor to discuss your issues. It could be nothing at all, simply your body adjusting to the birth control...But always better safe than sorry, right?
