respected nutrition certification + software program Posted: 11-11-05 14:04pm
Hi all,
i am posting this question on a number of
forums in hopes of a helpful response:
does anyone know of a respected nutrition
certification that a current certified
personal trainer can get to add to his
portfolio? There are a few but all are
kind of expensive and I would rather not
waste 4 or 5 hundred dollars on a bad
choice. Also, I am looking to purchase a
software program that would help in
designing a diet for a client. Something
that would give a few options if, for
example, you wanted to have a meal of 500
calories the program would show a number
of choices that would roughly equal the
500 total calories. Is there anything
like that on the market? Any help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

1.To my knowledge ace is a good
certification process. I live in the ohio
valley so every other trainer I
know(including myself) has been certified
with ace.
2. Check out a program called diet
sleuth. It has a free trial download.
If you like it the cost is about $35.
There is also a program called fitday.
Check them out and good luck.
