Hi, I am 17 years old and I think that I may be pregnant. I have been very depressed lately and I am due to have my period on the 12th of november and that's just a day away. I have had a week of cramps and they usually come the day of my period. I was on birth control for a month and have been off for about 3 or 4 months. My bf and I have been having unprotected sex since my last cycle. I eat alot and have frequent urination and abdomen pain. It would be hard for me to talk with my mother about this so would someone please help me!!!! Im scared.

Does it means you normally should have your periods 12th of november?

I'm not a doc of something but I heard from my gf's best friend that there's no problem if you had unprotected sex right before or right after periods (and that really saved my a**).

I don't know if this helps. I hope it will be ok.

Seb.

I always get my periods around the 12th of each month. I had unprotected sex six times last saturday with my boyfriend. He pulled out each time.

Some women ovulate during their periods so if you have sex right before or right after your period you can still get pregnant. Well you can get pregnant as long as you are having sex.........

Sperm can also live in the body, if the timing is right, for about 3-5 days after sex occured. Also you can get pregnant from pre-cum. Those little buggers that sneak out before he comes. Men have no control over those and can't even feel it when it happens.

Just wanted to keep everyone posted that my period is now three days late. Please give me advice on when to take the test again. I still have cramps, alot of lower back pain. I might just wait until the end of november to see if it comes on and if it does not I will take a test to see if I am pregnant. At my age periods are irregular but mine never were.

All This Pain Could Be a Sign..
But here I am 6 days late and not taken a test yet...Cause if I would have taken it on the first missed day I would have wasted my money...As you did...
You should wait 7-10 days after your period is late to get an accurate test result...Also you should test in the morning during your first urinination of the day since the home preg. Test, test for the hcg level in your body that is release when your fetus attached to the uterine wall and begins to form a placenta...With time the hcg levels increase during pregnancy.

I suggest with all the pain you describe either wait it out a week...Or go to the doctor because that could indicate a tubal pregnancy...Which is very dangerous...They would have to remove that ovary and tube!

I also suggest that you keep your pants on a little tighter...And stop trying to get pregnant otherwise you're going to f*** up your life having a baby at 17...No chance for college...No chance to succeed...

Pregnant At 17
And by the way you dont have to get your tubes removed whenevr you have a tubal pregnancy. And I know this because I have had one. And the doctors just gave me methotrexate and that cleared it up I just had to go to the doctors every once in a while to take a blood test to see if my hcg levels were going down or up so maybe you should educate youself before you try to give other people advice
