I just recently switched my pills from ortho tri cyclen lo to lo ovral. However, my doctor told me it was ok to switch right away the next day even thou I was only a week and a half into the 2nd ortho cycle. Now I have had all the signs that I was going to get my period, but nothing has come yet, its been 2 days so far. Is that normal?

Yeah, since you didn't wait until your pills were gone, you will probably have menstrual symptoms for a while. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
