Q: Tubal Ligation

I had my tubes tied 10 years ago, with new husband 6 months. My period was 2 weeks late and I felt pregnant. I started my period but it was extremly heavy with alot of clotting. That lasted for 2 days. My period is usually 3-4 days but it was longer this month. It has been a couple days and I am extremly dizzy still nauseated and still have cramps. And really tired. Does any one think I could have been pregnant and maybe miscarried? Should I go to the er with these symptoms?

You should definitely get to your dr as soon as possible just so you can eliminate certain things. When my mother had a miscarriage, she bled really heavy for a couple days and was soaking up tampons every 30 minutes. Finally, after a couple days she collapsed in the bathroom and we had to call an ambulance. She had to get several pints of blood pumped back into her because she had lost so much - and they had to do a d & c. It sounds like you could possibly be miscarrying.

You should get checked right away! Good luck!
